These terms govern the use of lacasadepickleball.com. By browsing the site, using its forms or taking up its discounts, you accept what is set out here. If you do not agree with it, the sensible course is not to use the site.

What you will find here, and what you will not

La Casa de Pickleball publishes content about pickleball: articles, lessons, paddle and gear reviews, videos, an events calendar, and a selection of discounts with partner merchants.

All of that content is informational. It is not a substitute for advice from a coach, a doctor, a physiotherapist or any other professional. Consult a professional before starting or changing physical activity, and particularly if you have an injury or a medical condition.

Discounts and affiliate links

Some of the links on this site are affiliate links: if you buy through them, La Casa de Pickleball may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. We say so on the pages where it applies.

The codes, percentages, conditions and validity of each offer are set by the merchant, not by us. They can change, run out or stop being available without notice, and we cannot guarantee that any particular code will be accepted.

On those purchases the contract is between you and the merchant: questions about prices, payment, shipping, returns or warranty should go to them, as the party able to resolve them. That is different from anything you buy directly here, which the next section covers.

Buying from this site

Alongside the affiliate links, La Casa de Pickleball sells digital products directly, such as PDF guides. On those purchases we are the seller: the contract is between you and La Casa de Pickleball LLC, not a partner merchant.

The price and what each product includes are whatever is shown at the time of purchase. Where tax applies it is shown before you pay. Payment is handled by Stripe or PayPal; we never see or store your card details.

Delivery is immediate and digital: on completing payment you receive the file, or a download link, at the email address you gave. If it does not arrive, write to us and we will sort it out.

Right of withdrawal and refunds

If you buy as a consumer in the European Union, the law gives you fourteen days to withdraw from a distance purchase. For digital content that right is lost if you ask to receive it immediately and acknowledge losing it — which is why, before paying, you will be asked to tick a box saying exactly that. If you do not tick it, you keep the fourteen days.

Once the file has been delivered on that basis the purchase is not refundable: a downloaded file cannot be returned. None of this affects your rights if the product is not as described, is not delivered, or does not work — in those cases write to us and we will refund you.

What you may do with what you buy

Buying a guide gives you a personal licence to read and use it. You may not resell, republish or distribute it, in whole or in part.

The content remains informational, like the rest of the site: it does not replace advice from a coach or a healthcare professional, and paying for it does not make it a personalised recommendation.

Enquiries and lessons

Sending the contact form does not constitute a booking, a registration or a commitment on our part. A lesson or service is confirmed only when we expressly confirm it to you.

Intellectual property

The text, design, logo and original images on this site belong to La Casa de Pickleball LLC and are protected by intellectual property law. They may not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without prior written permission, beyond brief quotation with a link to the source.

Third-party trade marks, logos and trade names appearing on the site belong to their respective owners and are used solely to identify their products and offers.

Acceptable use

In using the site, you agree not to:

• Use it in a way that interferes with its operation or with other people’s use of it.
• Extract its content in bulk or by automated means without permission.
• Use the forms to send unsolicited advertising, fraudulent messages or unlawful content.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

Third-party content and sites

The site links to and displays third-party content, including videos, social media posts and partner merchants’ sites. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it, for its availability or for its terms.

Site availability

We take reasonable care to keep the site available and its content accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that it will run uninterrupted or be free of errors. We may modify, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

Liability

The site and its content are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, La Casa de Pickleball LLC is not liable for loss arising from use of the site or inability to use it, from decisions taken on the basis of its content, or from the commercial relationships you enter into with partner merchants.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, nor any rights you have as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page, and the version published here is the one in force.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this clause does not deprive you of the protection given to you by the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
